We depart from the main gates of the Saddell Estate by coach at 0900, and head north, via Carradale, Tarbert, Ardrishaig
(our first Dunnett location and the start point for the Crinan Canal) and Lochgilphead to Ach Nam Breac to view neolithic engraved stones.

At 1pm prompt, the party splits into two - those who would like a longer walk (33 persons max) travel by bus to Bellanoch bridge.
This party walks, with local guide, from Bellanoch to the Moine Mhor (Great Moss) nature reserve, and then along the towpath
for 50 minutes to the Crinan Basin at the western end of the Canal, with the guide talking about the canal and the history of the area.
The second party is picked up from the Cairnbaan hotel and driven most of the way to Crinan Basin, with just a 15 minute guided
walk along the towpath near Crinan basin. At Crinan basin there is a coffee shop for those who feel the need.

Then it's on to Kilmartin

Arrive at Kilmartin Glen for a guided tour around the standing stones, and on to the visitor centre.

At around 1700 the bus will pick us up and drive down the west coast of Kintyre, with views over to Islay,
Jura, and Gigha; we'll stop at the Argyll Hotel where you can buy your evening meal and watch the sea.
After that, it's back to Saddell and then Carradale by coach.
